Welcome from FODS
FODS is the Friends of Debden School and is a group of mainly parents and family members who organise fun events for the children and fundraise to buy things for school. We meet approximately once every half term to plan events. We usually raise around £4000 each year.
Things We Do
We organise fun things for the children including movie nights, school discos, cake sales, ice-cream sales and a quiz night for the grown-ups. We also organise a Christmas card art project, Bag2School textile recycling collection, Gift Sale, School Fayres and second hand uniform sales.
Things we have funded this school year
New iPads, Greek Day experience, mobile planetarium visit, hatching eggs project, skip2bfit skipping equipment, school sign, tag rugby kit, Forest School equipment, cooking ingredients, science week extras, Mathletics subscription.
Second hand uniform – We have a stock of second hand uniform and we have a sale at parents’ evenings. Contact us with any requests and we can see if we have anything suitable in stock. All items £1.
